yummies in the tummy and a whole new perspective
That's right, we've just started Elijah on solids! Rice cereal mixed with formula. He just spits it all out the past two days, but that's what everyone says will happen, so I guess he is doing great!
The other big news is that he is starting to sit on his own and he loves it. When I say sit on his own I mean like when we set him down with his hands propping himself up he can now stay like that for around five minutes. A few times he ventured to lift his hands up and of course plopped over within seconds, but I thought it was quite impressive that he did it at all.
Will post pictures of these great big events soon.

I am absolutely amazing that he stays in the tripod position for 5 minutes. Sarah sits up by herself now, not in the tripod, but really sitting up, for about 30 seconds at a time, then she tries to grab something and falls over. I don't think her arms are as long as Elijah's, and her belly's bigger, so she doesn't like leaning over. :~)
